CHALLENGE TROPHIES
One challenge per trophy per club per season permitted.
Holders at start of season cannot place a challenge.
All challenges to be played on holders green. Play to commence week of 28 October 2024. All games thereafter must be played within a fortnight of challenge due.
Arranging of Challenge
Holder contacts challenger within three days of becoming the holder and arranges a suitable time and date for next challenge. Two date options to be provided with variance i.e. Tues 10.00am, Thur 5.30pm, Sun 10.00am - challenge must be played within 14 days of date of becoming holder. If a challenge date cannot be agreed by the holder/challenger - holder retains trophy and sets up challenge with next Club in draw. If Green conditions don’t allow play - challenge for following week to be arranged.
Note: play stand down period occurs between 9 December 2024 and 1 January 2025.
The Bowls Southland Office is to be notified after each Challenge is played. Please let the office know who the winner is of each game.
